Significant Improvement in Bowel Function

The study demonstrated that a daily intake of 600 mg of Actazin® significantly improved bowel function in healthy individuals with occasional constipation.

Participants experienced a notable improvement in stool form, as measured by the Bristol Stool Form Score (BSFS), and an increase in the number of complete spontaneous bowel movements (CSBM).

Positive Impact on Gut Microbiota

Consumption of Actazin® led to changes in the relative abundance of fecal bacterial taxa, indicating potential benefits to gut microbiota.

These changes were consistent with the consumption of kiwifruit cell wall components, suggesting that Actazin® not only improves bowel function but also supports a healthy gut ecosystem.

Well-Tolerated and Effective at a Lower Dose

Actazin® was effective and well-tolerated at a lower dose of 600 mg per day.

The study showed that this dosage led to significant improvements without causing significant adverse effects, making it a convenient and practical solution for maintaining regular bowel habits.
