Effective dosage: from 600 mg powder to 5 g puree 

Clinically validated powder dose: 600 mg Actazin® green kiwifruit powder per day supports normal bowel function by promoting bowel regularity, based on a notified FSANZ health claim. 

Puree equivalence: 5 g Actazin® puree delivers the same functional level of actinidin and fibre as 600 mg Actazin® powder, giving formulators a simple dosing target per serve. 

Actazin® puree: standardised to actinidin activity and fibre content so you can achieve the equivalent of the 600 mg powder dose in a defined gramsperserve puree addition (e.g. per 100 ml shot or 250 ml beverage)

Actazin® puree Ready to Eat Focus: marinades and sauces for meat 

  • Natural tenderiser and flavour optimization: the actinidin enzyme in Actazin® helps break down meat proteins, improving tenderness, protein digestion, and flavour in both red and white meats. 
  • Perfect as marinade or finishing sauce: Actazin® puree's viscosity and flavour profile make it ideal either as part of a precook marinade or blended into a postcook sauce or glaze. 
  • Suitable for chicken and steak: studies on actinidin show improved texture and protein breakdown in beef and other meat matrices, and the fresh, tart profile of green kiwifruit pairs naturally with both chicken and red meat. 
  • Flexible dosing: depending on the protein content, cut type and desired level of tenderisation, lower equivalent doses (around 30 mg powderequivalent per portion, expressed as the corresponding puree usage) may be appropriate —our NPD team can work with you to optimise this.
